REASONS FOR JUDGMENT
(Delivered from the Bench at Winnipeg,
Manitoba, on Friday, May 25, 2001)
STRAYER J.A.
[1] We are not persuaded that the Umpire made any reviewable error in his decision of March 19, 1999 not to amend his earlier decision of October 16, 1998. In our view he was correct in concluding that the claimant had not met the requirements of section 120 of the Employment Insurance Act in order to succeed in a request for reconsideration by an Umpire of an earlier decision.
[2] The application for judicial review will therefore be dismissed.
